Recent reports approve that GMOs have failed to reduce the use of herbicides and chemicals while they continue to feed Monsanto’s shareholders

The biotech industry has now successfully replaced 95% of US corn with Monsanto’s genetically modified toxic producing Franken corn. Most corn farms in US get subsidy from the government to plant Monsanto’s GMO corn that’s poisonous to corn rootwarm and many other species.

According to RT, Dan Steiner, an independent crop consultant in northeastern Nebraska said that everyone working in the farm got sick from the chemicals since they always had to dig to see how the corn is coming along. “We didn't wear the gloves and everything, and we'd kind of puke in the middle of the day. Well, I think we were low-dosing poison on ourselves" says Steiner.

GMO corn health risks

Amazingly, Monsanto’s best selling herbicide “Roundup” has many warnings on its label (like you can’t breathe it, touch it or drink it) but it’s considered safe and it’s approved by FDA. Roundup has many negative side effects on the environment and human’s health and in fact, recent studies show that the active ingredient in Roundup called ‘glyphosate’ is more toxic than declared Seralini study. The increase in use of chemicals and pesticides and GMOs continue to feed Monsanto’s shareholders:

Didn’t biotech promise that GMOs would feed the world while using fewer pesticides? Well, it turns out that GMOs do that exact opposite since the number of hungry people in the world hasn’t gone down and in fact, the situation is so drastic in some courtiers that the so called UN overpaid ambassadors and staffs are suggesting that people should eat bugs to deal with hunger.

According to uk.reuters.com, a report by Charles Benbrook, a research professor at the Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources at Washington State University shows that since the introduction of GMOs, the use of chemicals have increased by 500 million pounds.

Charles Benbrook’s report published in the peer-reviewed Journal Environmental Science questions the affectivity of Monsanto’s herbicide and insect tolerant crops since according to Benbrook’s report, over the last 16 years, the use of herbicides have increased by 527 million pounds.

Also, Charles Benbrook’s report shows that Monsanto’s GMO crops are losing their affectivity to kill weeds and pests and farmers have to use stronger herbicides and chemicals since Monsanto’s crops are becoming resistant to Monsanto’s best selling herbicide “Roundup”.

As a matter of fact, Monsanto’s crops resistant to Bacillus thuringiensis (or Bt toxin) are increasing the number of insects resistant to this toxin and that’s creating a bigger problem for farmers like superweeds and superpests. http://www.seattleorganicrestaurants.com/vegan-whole-food/Monsanto-pest-weed-resistant-crops.php
"Resistant weeds have become a major problem for many farmers reliant on GE crops, and are now driving up the volume of herbicide needed each year by about 25 percent," says Benbrook. He also explains that "the relatively recent emergence and spread of insect populations resistant to the Bt toxins expressed in Bt corn and cotton has started to increase insecticide use, and will continue to do so”.

GMOs-increase-pesticidesWhile Monsanto Corporation made no immediate comment about the recent report published by Charles Benbrook, Monsanto’s spokesman, Thomas Helscher said that "We're looking at this. Our experts haven't been able to access the supporting data as yet."

According to uk.reuters.com, Benbrook said in an interview that "things are getting worse really fast and in order to deal with rapidly spreading resistant weeds, farmers are being forced to expand use of older, higher-risk herbicides. To stop corn and cotton insects from developing resistance to Bt, farmers planting Bt crops are being asked to spray the insecticides that Bt corn and cotton were designed to displace." GMOs will continue to feed Monsanto’s shareholders while farmers are forced to use stronger herbicides and chemicals:

Next time, Monsanto or GMO supporters tell you that GMOs are helping the environment and are feeding the poor and hungry, ask them to sell their stocks in Monsanto. Because any politician, rational person or scientist that tells you GMOs are safe, is either lying or benefiting from the hidden poison in our food supply.

Monsanto and GMO supporters bully and demonize anyone who questions the safety of GMOs and independent scientists, activists, health advocates and organizations that provide information and studies about the harms of GMO are either demonized or personally attacked. Recently the studies of Dr. Judy Carman and her collogues showed that besides the severe inflammation of the stomach and intestine, the female pigs who were fed with GMO diet had their uteri (uterus) enlarged by 25%. However, the publications of the Australian scientist, Dr Judy Carman are under attack by the same researchers who criticize other studies that appose GMOs. In fact, hackers regularly target Dr Carman’s website where she publishes her studies and research. http://seattleorganicrestaurants.com/vegan-whole-food/Monsanto-GMO-military-government-cyber-warfare.php
