In this section of Seattle Organic Restaurants I’m going to talk about natural organic foods and supplements. You’ve probably heard of the expression “let the food be your medicine and let the medicine be your food”. Natural organic foods have many health benefits and are a high source of minerals, vitamins, nutrients, enzymes and antioxidants. The modern life style and the industrial pollution has made it difficult to get all the nutrients necessary for the body even from organic natural foods. Taking natural food supplements improves health and balances the minerals and nutrients in the body.
Here are some of these natural organic foods that have many health benefits:
Alfalfa: Alfalfa has many minerals and nutrients such as potassium, manganese, calcium and many vitamins. The roots of alfalfa are 130 feet deep into the earth. Alfalfa is a mineral supplement that can heal infections, burns, bleeding gums, cancer and liver disorders.
Aloe Vera: There are more than 200 kinds of aloe Vera on earth. Aloe Vera is used as hair and cosmetic products such as moisturizer, softener, skin healer, healing insect stings, burn, cuts and bruises. Aloe Vera can heal constipation, colon problems, itching and can fight against skin cancer, infections, arthritis and AIDS.
Barley Grass: Barley grass is high in iron, amino acids, vitamin B12 and C and minerals such as calcium, iron and enzymes. Barley grass can heal stomach disorders, colon problems and is anti-inflammatory.
Flaxseed and Flaxseed Oil: Flaxseeds are full of omega-3 fatty acids. They have high source of minerals such as magnesium, fiber, potassium, zinc, protein and B vitamins.
