Assaggio Ristorante is an Italian restaurant located in Seattle Belltown area. The restaurant was opened in 1993 by Mauro Golmarvi chef who is also the owner with great passion and appreciation for Italian fine cuisine. The menu is about freshness, simplicity and good ingredients not complicated recipes and variety of spices. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and the walls are painted with Michelangelo painting style. The owner Mauro makes sure everyone is comfortable and satisfied with food and of course the menu is full of great Italian dishes and some of the finest Italian wines!

Maruo and the restaurant staff are magnificent, attentive, helpful, fun, and with an attitude. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere of the restaurant is joyful and playful. Here you will experience authentic Italian dishes and only outdone by the most amazing list of Italian wines, many of which you have never heard of but you must try. Veal Stagioni is just amazing. The restaurant is a quite loud and can be very noisy Friday and Saturday nights, unless you prefer it full of energy and playfulness. Hard to believe anybody would be disappointed. Get ready for a memorable dining experience. |

Parking is not so easy before 8pm, and the Belltown area is not what it once used to be (in terms of safety), so like most restaurants in the Belltown area, parking is an issue, and walking to the restaurant after parking your car at a distance, is not always comforting. |
